Starcraft Awesomness

Been playing a lot of Starcraft lately :) (Yah, I know, I kind of switch from game to game randomly, last time it was Minecraft)

BUT NOW! Lol. I just got back into it after about a 7 month hiatus... And I reaaaaaallly sucked at first. I mean, REALLY. I initially got placed as number 56 in the SILVER league, and then I worked my way up and got upgraded to 20 in the Gold League. HOWEVER! Unfortunately, I had to quit MANY games, because I had to go do something, or go somewhere, or whatever, and apparently that kills your standing, so now I'm all the way in the STUPID bronze league :P.

But, on a more positive note, my roommate and I have boosted ourselves up to 13 in the Gold League :) So that's good news!

I don't really have anything else to report so

New Phone

So hey! I'm getting a new phone tomorrow, and it would be great if I could get everyone's input! :)

So the choices are either between the T-Mobile Google G2 or the Google G2X. There are a few differences between the two, despite having almost the same name. They're actually made by two different companies. The G2 is manufactured by HTC, while the G2X is made by LG.

The G2 has a slide-out physical keyboard, a 5.0 megapixel camera, a 800 Mhz SnapDragon processor, and runs stock Android 2.2.

The G2X, however, does not have a physical keyboard, but has a 5.5 megapixel camera, a 1Ghz SnapDragon processor, and it runs Android 2.2, but not stock Android, rather a unique Android UI, which you'll see in just a moment.

The question here is, do I want a physical keyboard, at the cost of some extra speed and features? And which one in the end looks better?  Here are the two phones:

Summer...

So you can probably all imagine my dismay as I have to begin Summer courses before I even begin Summer break... It's depressing, I know.

The more depressing part, is that this Summer course is only for Q1 of the Summer semester. Meaning it's only for 4 weeks from May 16th - June 10th. Therefore, a crap-ton of material is to be shoved into this 4 weeks as would normally be in a normal school semester. In OTHER words, this 3-credit class has the workload and time necessary to put into as a 12-credit class... That's normally at LEAST 4 classes worth of work, into 1, for 4 weeks. UNBELIEVABLE!

So this Summer is going to suck, but I get rewarded RIGHT at the end on June 12th with an amazing concert, Owl City, with my best bud Ian. :) Nothing could be a better reward.

Also, I've been playing a lot of minecraft. BEHOLD MY CREATION!

Yes, that is a custom-made glass atrium with a waterfall running on top of it. :)

Complaints Today

I'm really not happy right now. I don't do well when I'm woken up, it's pretty much my number one pet peeve, aside from grammar. So I'm extremely grumpy, and will probably snap if anyone talks to me right now. NOT. HAPPY.

Well TODAY

Today I have a final exam in Stats. I'm pretty prepared for it, but I've been studying since 8am this morning, so hopefully that will pull a lot of weight piled on top of all the studying I did this week :) YAY!

Also, I have two finals on Thursday... This should be stressful :( I ALSO don't even stop school right away. I have to leap right back in next week and do Summer Courses... :( Every day at 8am HOW ANNOYING! Hence my switch to this sleeping schedule, so I can actually wake up for class. Lol. Anyways, Summer really doesn't start for me yet... But I can't WAIT for June 12th to roll around. Classes end the Friday before, and right after, I'm rewarded with OWL CITY with my best bud IAN :D YAY!!!

To help me get through this stressful time, I made another mix!!! :D It's slower than the previous one, and it has a more love-y feel to it. I hope you enjoy!

Super Exciting

So two of my really good friends are coming to visit me today! :)

Charlie and Steven. I'm really excited, because it's been too long since I've seen one of my friends from back home. It's going to be amazing, really.

Although, at the same time I feel bad, because I didn't want to go to this Ball with Jessica and Kyrie. I mean it's not really all the bad I feel like... I just really didn't want to go. Except it's also kind of weird that my girlfriend is going to a dance without me. Yes, I'm a little jealous, mostly that she'll probably be dancing with other guys, but there's nothing I can do about that, I said I wasn't going. But I feel like it would be even more awkward if I went, considering that Kyrie is used to going with her now-ex, and she'd be alone and Jessica and I would be a couple. Third-wheeling is NO FUN!

But hey, I'm optimistic, because I get to hang out with Charlie and Steven here pretty soon. Noonish.

ANOTHER EXCITING THING!
My super awesome friend Ian and I are going to see OWL CITY in July!!! :D It's going to be the most AMAZING concert, and I couldn't be more stoked for it! It's also awesome because I don't really get to see Ian ever, since he's awfully busy, which I understand! I'm also super-supportive of his soccer career, cause he's the best player I know!

Morning?

So I've been trying this whole, getting up before 11 dealio, getting up around 7 or 8...

My body is definitely not used to this -.-; I just crashed at around 6pm and woke up twice. Once at 9 and again at midnight... Now, getting to sleep is going to be even more difficult.  I guess I'll just take 5mg of melatonin to help. But still, I'm really not used to this.

But morning seems to have its own kind of charm. I can get stuff done, for instance :) Which is a plus! Working on my AMV seems to be easier.

Anyone else have an opinion about mornings? LEMME KNOW!!!!! ^_^

You Belong With Me AMV - Maburaho

So far everything is going great with the new AMV :). I'm making some real progress, I haven't made a relationship-like AMV in a while, so it's a nice change of pace. I'm uploading through the first chorus right now, just so I can get a general feel for how people are accepting it. ^_^!

Resplendence

I can't help but think that morning seen like this is full of resplendence.

So I went to bed around 12:30am, big mistake :(. I woke up at 4:30am, wide awake as I've ever been. That is the problem with going to bed so early for me... Anyways, I woke up, laid there for about half an hour, then I decided I might as well start my day.

What makes this morning better than most is that I got to experience everything as it was happening. The sun rose above the mountains so perfectly, and the Chickadees started singing their songs... Really, truly, a site to behold.

It's so easy for me to ignore the typical views on how much sleep one should get. Life for me starts at midnight. That's when I can be most like myself.

Now it's 7:01am as I'm writing this. I've decided I'm going to make a new AMV, and actually finish it this time. I was listening to Taylor Swift and I thought I should jump on the opportunity to let my video editing be a nice outlet for my emotions.

I'm going to go work on that now. Until next time...
